Imogen / Fairy Light Nails

Hi it's Imogen and today I will be showing you how to do these  funky nails. Mine  are a bit messy but if your good at nails which you will definitely be better than me then you will do a great job of these nails. And if you are like me a bit rubbish then just remember practise makes perfect!

This is not my photo it's just off the internet. But these are what the final product should look like. I have drew a nail on a peice of paper to show you how to do these nails because currently I have something on my nails. I know it's not drawn properly but it doesn't matter.
So the first thing you will have to do is prepare your nails making sure that they are clean and filed to the shape you want them to be.Then you will apply the base coat to your nails to make sure you don't stain them. I used the base coat from Extras,I really need a good one but this one will do for the time being.
Then wait until the base coat is fully dry and then apply a white nail polish for the background put  two coats on but that might depend on the polish you use.I used the one from Essie and it is called Blanc.
Sorry for  the darkness of the photo it was night time when I took this :( Anyway after you have applied the white nail polish and it's fully dried. You can then draw a cable or wire on your nails.I would say do some hoops and things so it looks more interesting instead of a straight wire.Make it look like all the wires actually join up on all of the differnt nails.
For this step  I used a nail art pen from Claire's
Or you could use one of these:
When you have finished drawing the cable on you can then start put the dots on.You can go multicoloured but if you are doing these nails for Christmas and you want them to be simple but cool. Then you could keep the colours as yellow, green and red.
This is what it should look like but it will look neater on your nails because remember I did this on paper and I seem to have done lines more than dots. The colours I used of these dots are:
  This is called Green Berry!
To finish these nails of I used the Sally Hansen Insta  Drying Top Coat
I hope you liked reading my "tutorial" on Fairy Light Nails I know the nail wasn't a fantastic nail drawing and I didn't really apply the dots very well as they looked more like stripes not dots. So yeah this is how to create the Fairy Light Nails! Hope you enjoyed
