Ashleigh / Space Girl Bath Bomb Lush Review
Hello! It's Ashleigh here and I have a review of a bath bomb from Lush, the Space Girl. This is going to be a super quick and simple post with my honest opinions of the bomb. Let's go. I'm going to insert a picture below.First, I'm going to give you the details.
Lush's description of this bath bomb is 'A space-dust filled bath bomb with a sweet and fruity fragrance. If you feel as though your head is in the clouds or you’re feeling sluggish, Space Girl gets you centred again with its blend of fruity essential oils.'
The featured product in this is grapefruit oil, with Lush saying, 'Once you drop this into your bath, Space Girl crackles with space dust (popping candy) as it spins around your orbit, restoring your good cheer. Grapefruit oil is refreshing and uplifting for the mood, clarifying and toning the skin, while bergamot makes you feel relaxed and mildly euphoric.'
One of the cheaper Lush products, the Space Girl retails at £2.25 each which I think is a very agreeable price, though I'd probably pay £3.50 at the most, so you're getting quite a bargain.
On the Lush website it is currently rated 4.4 out of 5 stars by 112 users. You can buy it online HERE.
MY REVIEW
This is one of my favourite bath bombs from Lush and makes a lovely, indulgent bath as well as the very affordable price. It smells delicious and sweet, like parma violets, and the popping candy may or may not actually be candy, but you can hear it crackling.
LIKES
- The scent is very sweet, like parma violets, and it makes you want to stay in your bath just a little bit longer. In addition to this, the smell actually lingers on your skin so you smell really good after you've used it.
- I actually quite like the popping candy, it's quite a relaxing sound and you know the bomb is doing it's job. I think it's a really cool effect to have, especially if your head is under the water.
- It doesn't make your skin feel awful. We've all tried a bath bomb that made us feel dry, uncomfortable or left a gross, sticky residue and it doesn't feel good, but this just softens your skin slightly or doesn't effect it badly.
- The red colour on the top doesn't look good, and it leaves red stains on your bathtub. However, the red stains do come off but you need to give it a good scrub, so you need to try and not let it splash when you drop it in the bath or red goes on the walls and tub and leaves marks.
