ashleigh / spa series 2 / diy face mask

So when you go to a spa or have a spa evening you're definitely going to want to have a really relaxing evening, and what more spa-like than chilling in your face masks? Not much!! Instead of going out and buying face masks there are some cool ways to make your own face masks with household ingredients where you know exactly what's in them opposed to paying and not knowing everything. Plus it kills some time and I think doing this with your friends would be really fun, and even alone!

Okay so I don't have photos of me doing this so I'll have to improvise. I did get the recipe online but I thought I'd share with you.

HONEY & OATMEAL FACE SCRUB.

Apparently, this face mask is perfect for those of you with oily skin/acne.

You Will Need;

What to do;

  1. First, blend up your oatmeal til it's more powdery just to ensure there isn't huge lumps in your scrub because that ain't cool or comfortable! If you don't have a blender just use something like a coffee grounder or hit it with a rolling pin while it's in a bag.
  2. Grab some kind of glass or another container and just pop in your oatmeal.
  3. Then, pour your water and oatmeal into a dish.
  4. Make sure your mixture is gooey - if it's not very gooey just add a little more oatmeal.
  5. Stir in your honey and you have a face mask! Just applicate it to your face and leave it on however long you want and rinse it off with warm water. When you've cleaned it off just pat your face dry instead of rubbing.
  6. Voila! All done.
This would probably work great with maybe twice a week usage.

Love you, bye!
