Ashleigh / Small Beauty Haul
Hello again it seems to have been a while!:)
Okay so I went shopping with a few friends yesterday and saw some makeup bits and bobs that caught my eye:) I also bought a couple of other things but seeing as majority of my purchases were beauty related I decided to just show you them.
So the first thing I picked up was this absolutely beautiful nail polish from Barry M. I love Barry M nail polishes because they dont stain my nails, stay on nicely and also apply well. I love the colour of this polish and all of the glittery chunks and tiny pieces of glitter all mixed together in a pinkish shade. This one is called 'Rose Quartz Glitter.' I bought this from Superdrug but obviously you can buy it elsewhere.
The rest of the products all come from Boots, which for if you don't know what it is a pharmacy thing I think and it has lots of makeup stands and then sells some medication and baby products etc.
The first thing I selected in boots was from the maybelline section and it was something I have heard YouTubers talking about a lot. It is the Maybelline 24 hour colour tattoo in the shade 'On And On Bronze.' As you can probably tell is a really lovely shimmery bronze cream eyeshadow. I am wearing it today and I'm impressed with the nice colour and great pigment so im finding it a good product so far. It's great for application with your fingers as well just make sure your hands are clean!
The next item is another thing from maybelline and it is my 4th baby lips so far. This is in intense care which imogen likes so I thought I'd try it out seen as I do get dry and chapped lips. I am wearing this underneath my lipstain today but before judging it I would prefer to use it more often.
Then I went round to the Barry M stand to complete the 3 for 2 offer that was on and I picked up a colour I have been desperate to have. It's from the aquamarine collection and is called Pacific. I have this shade on my nails now and I have to say that it is stunning. It's very shiny and shimmering, a bright blue with a green shimmer. It kind of reminds me of an oil spill as it is blue and green in the middle. I really love this.
When I was in the queue to buy my things, I encountered a little benefit sample set which I believe was called happy days and was 9.95. I've never tried benefit before so of course I had to buy it.
The first sample in the set was a little version of bad gal lash. If I have to be truthful, this mascara is nothing special. It's actually quite clumpy though not too much so and though lengthening it didn't have a defining feature that made me say wow. I will use the bottle but my favourite is still one from Avon.
The next was the benefit porefessional in a cute tube and as far as I can see its quite good. It's my first pore minimizing product so I'm not sure how I feel exactly but it seems to work well.
The last product is the benefit posie tint. I don't like it as a cheek stain however I really love the colour as a lip stain. It feels kind of dry on your lips with a kind of oily feel so I'd maybe put a lipbalm below and on top. I do love the colour though.
