Imogen / Light Water Valley

Hey guyys, Imogen here
How you all doing?

Ok so in my last post I said I was going somewhere and that I was going to do a blog post on it. If you can remember? Well the place was Light Water Valley it is a theme Park in Rippon and its lots of  fun. I have been 3 times now one with my family and twice with school for an end of year trip. The only problem is when you go that many times it doesn’t get as exciting the next time you go because you’ve already been on all the rides. My favourite rides out of all of them are:

Black Pearl (Pirate Ship that holds you upside down and then swings upside down in circles) – It hurts my belly because that where it holds you in from. Even though it hurts. We went on this ride loads of times. The first time that I went to Light Water Valley with school I didn’t have anything to hold onto except the mini handle thing which is on the bit that pushes into your belly. So I didn’t feel safe at all. But when we went on the 6th I sat right at the end of the Pirate Ship so I held onto the cages bars(because there was obviously a cage around the Pirate Ship) so I felt much safer and enjoyed the ride so much more.

Ultimate (Supposed to be the longest wooden track roller coaster)- Which gives me whip lash.

Raptor Attack (Roller coaster which is inside but it is pitch black until you meet a dinosaur then a light comes on showing there is a raptor there also there are sound effects. This ride is so funny because of it being dark you can’t tell when you are going to go straight down or take a turn. It is a cart of four; two in the back and two in the front. And me and Annemarie sat in the back together and at first I was just putting my arms in the air but then suddenly we went down a ramp/hill and I grabbed hold Annemarie’s shoulder quite tightly (sorry L) but then she started screaming “Something just grabbed me” Not knowing that it was me. So I was about to tell her that it was me when I thought “never mind we’ll not tell her. So then I started tapping/touching/grabbing her shoulder. So all the way on the ride she was shouting/yelling/screaming saying something “had got her!”, “it touched me, something just touch my shoulder” When we had gotten off the ride she still had no clue that it was me and was stilling going on about it . But during the ride they take a photo of you when you are going down the hill I think. But anyway you could see my arm at the side of me vanishing behind Annemarie. So I mentioned “oh look where my arm is” and then instantly like I knew she would she knew it was me.

Eagles Claw (I don’t know how to describe this properly) The first time that I went with school me and Annemarie loved this ride and went on it at least 5 times. But this time when we went on it it was good but not as exiting so we didn’t go on it as many times. Also there was more people with our school the second time we went because year 7’s also came with us. So there was more of a queue.  Instead we just went on all the best rides at least 2 times.

So I was going to upload pictures on what I wore and some pictures just of the day but I forgot to take pictures because we were busying going on all different rides. So I’m just going to describe what I wore instead. I wore a play suit which have blue shorts and a lace top from Matalan. And I think it was £17. I bought the play suit to go to Light Water Valley in but I bought it weeks before because June was supposed to be lovely weather except when it got nearer to the date it started to bang it down with rain but luckily the day we was going was the hottest day of the month!! . When I say I bought it I mean my Mum and Dad paid for it. I was going to give them the money back from this science completion I had won but that would of meant that I had something like a £5 left. So I Mum said that it didn’t matter. I also got some grey converse like shoes with a white soul and toe-peg thing  at the front from Primark for £6. And you might be thinking converse(like)shoes and a play suit really don’t match Imogen but it actually looked super cute. To go with the shoes because I need to wear socks with sneaker-like-shoes I also bought some cute trainer socks from Primark which came in a pack with 7 pairs of socks in and there was the colours Blue, pink, white, grey, mint green. (I know that's not mint green, but there isn't one)And two of those colours where in the pack twice. For the day I wore the light blue pair to go with the shorts.

I think I am going to end this here as this blog is already on 913 words. I hope you enjoyed this blog. Yeah
Love
